JAMEISHA PRESCOD

Jameisha Prescod graduated from the BA (Hons) Digital Film Production course at Ravensbourne University, London, in 2017. Since then she has been on a mission to bring conversation about chronic illness into the mainstream. With her Instagram page 'You Look Okay to Me' and a fast-growing YouTube presence, she has become a beacon of hope and inspiration for others. Prescod is a London-based filmmaker and journalist whose work focuses on chronic illness, the health challenges of our time, and how health affects society. She recently won the Wellcome Photography Prize. For The New Menard Press she contributed to the bestselling anthology On Being Ill.
